There’s a reason those bans occur. Valid reasons and they have nothing to do with mental health.

I think in some ways they are winning on one point.
Guns are becoming extremely expensive to own anymore.
Just see the prices at any show or shop.

I made this point not as a deflection, but as a comparison.

There are some that feel the very same way about guns as you do about Pit bulls.

I was never attacked by one, but was attacked by a Rottweiler.
I was in my yard and it came at me from the back of an SUV parked across the street.
    Some breeds are born insane.
Dogs, like people, can be born with a disposition to being unstable. When it comes to dog breeds, there is a problem with inline breeding among irresponsible backyard breeders; there is also a problem with the cross breeding of unstable animals. As a breed, Rotties are no more naturally aggressive than any other breed, but there are breeders who unfortunately breed for aggressiveness because there is a market for crazy dogs among the criminal demographic or who irresponsibly breed siblings with each other and their offspring because all they are interested in is the money. Rotties were almost destroyed as a breed because they became popular with the "I've got to have a macho dog" group of people. Rottweilers actually have very good temperaments when they are bred responsibly.

Like guns, if you dont loke em, dont own one.

6 million pitbulls, less than 13 deaths a year in a country of 350 million.... i fail to understand your hysterics....
