Maybe only in America - in England where I grew up, and Australia, where I live - I have never met anyone who hated Jewish people, and I have never had a reason to dislike Jewish people, any more than I have a reason to dislike Catholic or Mormon people or Muslim people. There are huge Jewish populations in Hackney and Barnet (Golders Green) in London, and in Double Bay, Darlinghurst, and Bondi in Sydney - and we never have anti-Jewish problems in either city.

I honestly don't understand the prejudice against Jews (the "They killed Christ" is total bollocks as a reason - we don't even know for sure if the man called Jesus of Nazareth ever existed). One of my dad's friends (and now my friend) is a very old Jewish professor of Architecture and Town planning at the University of New South Wales (I play chess with him nearly every week), and he and his family are the kindest people you could hope to meet. He is very well educated and fascinating to talk to, and he was born in India (has father was an assistant to Lord Louis Mountbatten, the last Viceroy of India). I now know loads about colonial India that I never knew before. And in every country to where Jews emigrate, they value education and culture, and seem to bring benefits to that country.

But I have heard and read criticisms of the State of Israel from lots of people (Jewish and non-Jewish) - mainly about the way they treat the Palestinians. I don't know enough about Israel to really have an opinion on that - but the Israeli armed forces do seem to be often accused of doing unfair and quite terrible things. Like shooting Palestinian children dead for no good reason. I dunno, but I don't think criticising stuff like that is being anti-semitic.

There is plenty of historical evidence of Jesus, so that anti-God meme has no legs.

I never understood the hatred of the Jews over Jesus's treatment. It was prophesied.

Sorry Peter, but there's no 'anti-God meme' - we don't have birth or any other official records of Jesus of Nazareth, and while we are all entitled to our beliefs, there is no historical evidence that God, or gods, ever existed. So you believe what you want to, but don't attack me for not sharing your beliefs - that is one of the big problems with every religion.

What reason would God ever have to present you with some kind of irrefutable empirical evidence of His existence?

I am not attacking you. I don't care what you believe. I am, however, telling you that you are wrong.

While billions of people believe Jesus of Nazareth was one of the most important figures in world history, many others reject the idea that he even existed at all. A 2015 survey conducted by the Church of England, for instance, found that 22 percent of adults in England did not believe Jesus was a real person.

Within a few decades of his lifetime, Jesus was mentioned by Jewish and Roman historians in passages that corroborate portions of the New Testament that describe the life and death of Jesus.

Stalin did nothing to support Jews. Nor did he fight the National Socialists for reasons other than defense. The Soviet Union and the National Socialists had a secret treaty all the way up until they didn't.

The USSR and National Socialist Germany were two thug countries joined together for their own nefarious purposes.

NO historical evidence. The CV was doctored to fit.

Of course its a political issue just as race is or immigration .
Expecially when you have members of Congress are openly making it a political issue and are clearly anti jewish , that makes it a big issue .

Because He might want us to believe He exists? Like what reason would God have not to give humans reason to believe in Him? Should be a piece of cake for an all-powerful being to appear in all his glory (rays of light, heavenly choirs, seraphim and cherubim, and all that,) to his supporters - should it not?
