“I noticed Wallace was not listening,” Martinez said, according to a Fresno police report. “I believed Wallace was going to attempt to flee. …
“I punched Wallace approximately three times in the face in order to get him off me and to back him up. …”
“By punching Wallace in the face,” Martinez added, “I received the desired effect, creating the distance between me and Wallace, which allowed me to get my back off of the second story balcony railing.” -https://www.fresnobee.com/news/local...234210312.html

... Legal analyst Ralph Torres says police usually have a built-in civil lawsuit defense of fearing for the officer's safety.
    See the problem??

"But in this case, the kid was patted down. There was nothing there," Torres said. "And I don't see anything that was consistent with an officer basically putting his fist right through his face."

An initial use of force investigation didn't find the officer used excessive force

    Officer Christopher Martinez coincidence??

    https://www.mysanantonio.com/news/lo...ely-790354.php

Same cop that was was placed on indefinite suspension in San Antonio? I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same cop. There was that case where a cop was fired,, moved back to his hometown, hired there as an officer and then killed a guy.

Get placed on suspension or get fired from one agency, another one will be glad to take you in. After all, you meet all of the qualifications.

If the kid was so innocent, what was he doing in the midst of that gang roundup?

One, that's not the question to be asking, but since you did.. police were in the building doing a probationary domestic violence search.

The kid went where to previous officer pointed for him to go. IF you watched, you know it too. And know that the charges against him were dropped.

Now, whether you or I or the big bad bullies think a person is guilty is irrelevant. One again, the police are not supposed to be the judge, jury and executioner all rolled into one.

So you just assume people are guilty until proven innocent instead of the other way around.
