Sanders comes with this after Reid came out and dumped on his Medicare for all scheme. Expect Sanders to start playing victim and saying the DNC is making sure they tank his run for the Presidency.

Reid? Harry Reid? He’s irrelevant within today’s Democratic base. They aren’t going listen to him.

When the crazies can figure out how to deliver electicity 24x7x366 with no interruption at 8 cents per kilowatt hour, then it'll be time to start talking turkey. I'm not really in the mood for an electricity bill that costs me $5 grand a month. But hey, if energy producers can deliver it with bankrupting every, I'm totally down with green energy. As long as you don't give me Van Jones, Solyndra, Pelosi and bankruptcy.

In the run up to the 2008 elections the "media" floated a lot of trial balloons on increased taxes. The most ambitious tax increases would raise revenue by $250B. A quarter of the current deficit. And that revenue increase assumed no economic effect to such a tax increase. Anyone with a brain knows that is not true.

And that tax increase eliminated the mortgage interest deduction. That would gut the middle class and make most Americans renters.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) debuted his version of the much-vaunted Green New Deal, a plan which would radically and fundamentally alter the American economy for decades to come.

    The plan
would require $16.3 trillion dollars in public spending to transition the United States to 100 percent renewable energy by 2030 and completely decarbonize by 2050, according to Sanders's campaign. Sanders contends, however, that the plan would "pay for itself" in 15 years, thanks to a bevy of new taxes and 20 million new jobs the plan means to create.

With his proposal, Sanders solidifies his lead as the biggest-spending candidate for president in the 2020 field. A July Free Beacon analysis found that Sanders had announced $36 trillion in spending proposals since the start of the campaign. His $16 trillion not only brings this total over the $50 trillion mark, but sails past the climate proposals of other candidates—topping Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand’s (N.Y.) ambitious $10 trillion plan.

Clearly Bernie has uped the anti set by the dems and the repubs. But rest assured if you vote dem, repub or Sanders whatever the problem is spending will be the answer.

Question: If electricity is going to be free for everyone, can I leave my AC at whatever temp I want to and the lights on all the time?
