One of the first psychiatrists who sounded the alarm over Donald Trump's state of mind has expressed renewed concern that the president's recent pronouncements show his cognitive abilities are deteriorating...

...Trump had "a fundamental need to be all-powerful and all loved and can't stand challenges."

"He can't stand anything that disagrees with him, and the more you challenge him, the more unhinged he becomes, the more paranoid, and the more violent, potentially," Dodes said

"He doesn't really love anyone except himself. That's not a slur, that's a psychological fact. People like him are about him. If he's not useful to him, he stops loving him. That's part of the essential emptiness of Donald Trump. He doesn't have real relationships with people."

That is a perfect description of Trump's mental state. It's also an accurate description of many of Trump's supporters. This will only get worse before it gets better.

It's amazing to see so many mental health professionals out there who can make a diagnosis without the benefit of actually conductino and in depth interview / mental health eval.

If there's a bigger bunch of bull$#@! anywhere today, I haven't read it, and if there is anything the President has shown daily for the last three years it is that he does not have "a fundamental need to be all-powerful and all loved and can't stand challenges." He has stated several time that he doesn't care about the powers in Washington constantly deriding him and he has demonstrated it. He is there to do a job. Congress is not.

He has for three years endured lies, abuse and highly unprofessional conduct by people like Harvard's Lance Dode of Beverly Hills, so-called "experts" abusing their professional licenses by making $#@! up out of political hatred. This is a very dangerous person.

Nobody can stand your Hollywood bull$#@!, Dode, but we all suffer you like you have some sort of real legitimacy, which you don't. Trump is doing a terrific job against the daily withering fuselade of slander, libel, lies and conspiracies by people like you.

By the way, this is an excellent demonstration of the very grave danger in "red flag" laws. Political and personal assassination is pretty much how they will come to be used.

Bet Stalin never dreamed that a Bolshevik would someday be a Hollywood shrink to the stars.
