I think that is why the term exists, because they are a special group within society that has not been treated well in a "double whammy" sort of way, and where we really need to focus more attention on.

For example, women of color and maternal death rates? Absolutely shocking compared to white women.
First those numbers are more based upon socio-economics than they are on black vs. white.I'm guessing that if we looked at enough indicators we would find the women of color do better than men of color in terms of treatment by the justice system, lifespan, access to healthcare and likely current access to education. And for many years the men were obligated to register for selective service while the women were not. Black males are much more likely to me murdered or to suicide than are their female counterparts. Who do you think would get a better reception at a DV program?
My point is that women have achieved equality and good for them it was long overdue. The glass ceiling has been shown to be largely based on hours worked and years of service But feminist organizers and authors won't give up the cash cow. True feminist should admit that the goal has been achieved and work to assure that it stays that way and maybe, just maybe work for people's rights in general

Actually, while you are entirely entitled to your opinion, most people would consider your statement part of the problem in this country.

    Carry on.

Suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But I digress....

You and "D" need to stop throwing out the truth. Much like I do. It tends to shut the feminist down instead of continuing the thread. I give them credit though, many continue to fight even once logic and facts to the contrary of their opinion are stated.
