I am not a fan of the 5G. Heck I dont even like Wifi. I don't even have that crap in my house. We wont be able to opt out with 5G. Not looking forward to it that's for sure.

Remember when microwave ovens were gonna give us all cancer? And cellphones were gonna give us all brain tumors? I'd be willing to bet there was a certain segment of the population that was worried about broadcasting TV signals back in the 1920s.

Well good news!! Microwave ovens haven't killed anyone, and cellphones didn't give us all brain cancer! The worst thing a millimeter length radio wave can do to you is induce a little heat, but only at much higher power levels than it takes to carry a little data.

I'm no teckie as you know. I do not get the need for 5G. Unless we are just running out of space for all these electronic signals. I have long predicted that someone trying to answer their doorbell in Atlanta from an airport in Syracuse will open a locals garage door.
But other that that how much faster do we need our damn phones to be? I can text and send attachments to include pics I took with the phone in pretty much real time. Search the internet , listen to an audio-book or even actually use the phone to TALK with someone. What do we need these things to do at what speed that we need 5 G?
