There once was a man from Boston,
who had a little Austin, he had room for his ass
and a gallon of gas...
But he left his balls in Boston
Emotions
Everyone has emotions; it is part of being human. There is hardly a moment in our lives when we are not affected by our feelings in one way or another. We live on a sea of emotion, swept along by its currents, blown about by its winds, buffeted by tempests of passion. Even the castaway, barefoot in the sand on a solitary isle, feels the constant lapping of its waves.

apocalypse
dancing to the devil's dirge
frog leaping tombstones
hiding amongst the lost
in a crumbling crypt
fiery demons heed the serpents call
souls in purgatory wail
seeking their release
brides and mothers weeping
and the apocalypse is only hours old
the horsemen ride
bringing vengeance

Loyalty
Never believe the worst of a man
When once you have seen his best,
Of any loyalty worth the name
This is the surest test.
Gossip is ready at every turn,
Your faith and trust to slay,
But the loyal soul is deaf to doubt,
Whatever the world may say.
Whatever you hear on others' lips,
Don't let it soil your own;
Let your faith still stronger be,
Keep the image before your eyes,
Of the friend who's a friend to you:
And stand by that friend through thick and thin
Whatever the world may do.
Never believe the worst of a man,
When your own soul sees the best;
All that matters is what you know
Not what the others have guessed
And if all that you know is straight and fine
And has brought you friendship's joys.
Be proud to treasure the truth that's yours,
Whatever the world destroys.

Poems by A. C. Rostic.
Now let's sing his praises strong.
Our brilliant leader is our guide.
Never will he steer us wrong.
Some day soon we'll have a wall
Enclosing us from those who harm.
Now we must stand strong and tall.
Soon Donald Trump will make us great.
Everyone will celebrate!

Before we go our merry way,
Until we wander on,
Let's pause to praise our leader brave.
Let's hear it for the Don!
Stout heart has he; a man of steel,
He does our nation proud.
It's time we made our feelings known.
That's right! Shout 'MAGA' loud!

"And gladly wolde he lerne and gladly teche." Chaucer, the Canterbury Tales.
Daily Bread (06-06-2021)
Let the sweet fresh breezes heal me
As they rove around the girth
Of our lovely mother planet
Of the cool, green hills of Earth.
We rot in the moulds of Venus,
We retch at her tainted breath.
Foul are her flooded jungles,
Crawling with unclean death.
We've tried each spinning space mote
And reckoned its true worth:
Take us back again to the homes of men
On the cool, green hills of Earth.
The arching sky is calling
Spacemen back to their trade.
ALL HANDS! STAND BY! FREE FALLING!
And the lights below us fade.
Out ride the sons of Terra,
Far drives the thundering jet,
Up leaps a race of Earthmen,
Out, far, and onward yet ---
We pray for one last landing
On the globe that gave us birth;
Let us rest our eyes on the fleecy skies
And the cool, green hills of Earth.
