Ever been to Venice?

I have been to Italy several times. Rome and Tuscany. I have not been to Venice yet.

In 1982 it was very dirty. I was in a restaurant where I asked for a glass of water. When I got it, it had dead flies floating in it. Some guy came up to me said no one ever asks for a glass of water there.


Still it was a facinating city to visit.
