    It's ji-roh (gyro for the remedial crowd), who the $#@! started calling them gee-roh's?

    Tell me, who's idea was that? Same guy who says hurricnnn, I just want to punch these people in the throat.

    I don't know, but the Greek pronunciation for the original food is pronounced 'yeeros'.

    ... I honestly wouldn't order it because I don't know how to say it. I mean, in theory, I know how to pronounce it, but in practice? I'd probably be like, "Can I get a gay-rod?" or something because I would overthink it and clutter it up.
