China has been selling cheap knock off crap forever. Rolex Corporation started a division with hired retired Police Detectives and supervisors to fight the knock off rolex epidemic in the 90s.

China was able to make fake rolexs that copied the famous rolex second hand movement. It moves steadily around the dial, where all other watchs moved tic tic tic tic tic. Everyone buying rolexs always looked at the second hand first to confirm legitimacy, hence they were flooding the US with them

A non cop friend of mine bought one for 25 bucks, I said why did you buy that garbage, he said the ladies have no clue its not legit. Back then strippers in the clubs used to look at your watch to see if it was expensive or not

The red hats, made to resemble President Donald Trump's iconic Make America Great Again hats, defied Trump's focus on American-made goods. He's also battling China with tariffs and imports in a trade war.

Now lets see if you can comprehend what intellectual property is about and why counterfeit goods is a problem with the Chinese.

What does that say about the American buying public? A) they often can't afford the pricey but still Chinese made branded merchandise and B) all they care about is the look of the item. The patterns and designs for those knockoff NFL Jerseys are probably coming from the factories producing them for the NFL in China! There is no way those polyester or nylon jerseys are actually worth $89. It's at least 75% markup, probably more. Don't worry, there are enough people buying the branded merchandise that these knockoffs are not cutting into their business, because the people buying the knockoffs won't pay $89 for a stupid jersey.

Probably 90% of high schools have copied pro sports teams' logos.
