I was Cowboys fan as a kid. The Danny White days. I lost interest in highschool.

I have to wonder if I'm the only guy here who doesn't watch sports at all.

So I kinda paid attention to the franchise. Compare it with the Steelers, one thing the SH's were doing a lot of was buying players. I remember them losing Steve Hutchenson to the Vikings for like $50m in free agency so the Hawks turn around and take a WR from the Vikings, Nate Burleson for $50m. Burleson was an average or less receiver, Hutch was a pro bowl guard. And the Hawks just continued to piss money away on less than value players. In the age of salary caps you simply cannot piss money away in free agency, players there are generally over-priced.

The Steelers in contrast generally grow and develop players (and lose them in free agency often) but that produces value, you get more bang from your player buck. And hence why the Steeler franchise has been more successful.
Join the club, who didn't beat the Seahawks, LoL?

There might be a team in professional sports that sucks more horse $#@! than the Steelers.

I'm unaware of its existence, however.
