I know, I know, I am not supposed to eat it. I know it is "bad". I know it is wrong. But if it is so "bad" then why did it make me so damn happy then?

Yes I know the scale will probably take a noticeable shift in the ascending direction. I may have lost some of my life expectancy. Which many here would probably give praise for, LoL. But was it worth it? Hell Yes!!!

You know, this will sound crazy, but

Five years ago I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic. I had lost 40 pounds and could not figure out why.
But I eat all kinds of carbs including a lot of sugar, and am OK now.
As long as I eat plenty of meat protein, there is NO PROBLEM!That's the crazy part!
So I eat whatever I like.

I wonder is there is any scientific basis for this?

I don't eat meat so it is really hard for me to meet my protein intake. I added eggs to my diet, but my stomach really doesn't like them. But I found I can eat nuts, hemp hearts, Unfortified Nutritional yeast, and cheese, and legumes. That really works for me. For my body I have to stay away from dairy, except cheese.
Uh, what is a hemp heart? Pot?

I used to think that how the body burns calories was cut and dry. But after getting sick. I found out that it is different for every body. What works for one might not work for another. I also became less judgmental to people who actually cant lose weight. I am sure there is a scientific basis. But that will vary from person to person.

So are you no longer pre-diabetic anymore? Do you take your insulin? I guess people who are diabetic and don't take their medication can lose a lot of weight but it can be deadly.

If you lost weight you might not be pre diabetic anymore though.
