    Limited time only! For sale

My summer home is available to satisfy even the most discriminating buyer. I comes as is but I will give a small discount to cover a little exterior paint. If you have the $500,000.oo and want a quick closing apply at this forum.

Funny story: Mrs U had a son from her previous marriage when we met. I grew up poor. When I took her son and his cousin down home the first time to meet my family, I jokingly pulled into the driveway of a house that looked very much like that. Oh my Obama, the look on his face!! This was, of course, after an hour plus drive of priming the pump — be nice... not everybody has a nice big house... etc.

Is this a feeble attempt by AZ Jim to show he has a "sense of humor"?

    Ha! Good one!

I didn't grow up poor, but the house I did grow up in was small, 1,400 sq ft, one bathroom, six kids. Fortunately, as older siblings reached adulthood, they moved out, and before long, it was just me and my little brother. Very fond memories of that old house, it about killed me when we had to sell it after Dad died. It was in the family for 50 years.

Wow. That's a small house for 8 people.
