Plumber Takes On Debt So He Can Offer Free Repairs For Hundreds Of Struggling Seniors

Here is a guy who is 52, quits his job so he is able to do free home and plumbing repairs for needy senior citizens. That is total dedication to helping those who cannot help themselves.

"This 52-year-old plumber quit his paid job so he could do free plumbing and home repair services for seniors and families in need—particularly during the cold winter months.
James Anderson was first inspired to leave his private work back in 2017 after he witnessed another home engineer treating an elderly customer “poorly”.
Shortly after that fateful encounter, Anderson started his nonprofit, Disabled and Elderly Plumbing and Heating Emergency Repair (Depher)."

Now how cool is that? It's nice that there are still people like that in this world.

This is wonderful. Question however, how does he feed himself and his family?

    God bless James Anderson.
Suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But I digress....

So...he freeloads off the wife but presents himself as a conduit of charity. Neat. Good work if you can find it.

A few years ago, I read about a contractor in fla who would do free handyman work for lower income seniors, the article said he spent quite a bit of his money and spent alot of time doing it.

After 9 yrs of free labor he recieved a surprise, one of the supposedly low income seniors he did work for, left over a million dollars in assets and a half a million dollar life insurance to him

We have a handful of elderly clients who pay us in "cookies." We all have to do our part to help, but there's no way we could drop our other clients and take on just the needy.
