I think major catastrophe are generally not going to have a lot of surivors such as super volcanos huge mentors and nuke war.
So I agree with you.
I am lucky in I live on a fresh water lake and have medical supplys food a generator with gas and like others a couple vec fuel tanks full .also I am very well armed and trained .so we are good to go for a couple months if not more depending on the event.
Many people couldnt go a week
