    Trump supporters basically.

Taking appropriate and responsible precautions like Crep suggested makes more sense but being prepared for rational adults isn't a hobby like it is for the morons.

Agreed except on the Trump supporters. lol

Yeah, having the means to ease a short term crisis is appropriate. Preparing for the apocalypse is for kooks.

I think major catastrophe are generally not going to have a lot of surivors such as super volcanos huge mentors and nuke war.
    So I agree with you.
I am lucky in I live on a fresh water lake and have medical supplys food a generator with gas and like others a couple vec fuel tanks full .also I am very well armed and trained .so we are good to go for a couple months if not more depending on the event.

If a "small catastrophe" entails mass death and everyone turning on one another you probably won't survive. But then I wouldn't call that a "small catastrophe".

But I'm glad to see you have no plans for surviving a super volcanic eruption.

I really enjoy reading what you like to read into to try to get your digs in and what you don't, to try to do the same.

I didn't enjoy reading that sentence. It was a syntactic train wreck.

That this thread is in world affairs suggests you had a lot of priorities that you should have prepped for well before you should be worrying about meteor strikes or tsunamis.

Not too worried about tsunamis here...........and the meteoroid strike depends on where it hits and how big it is. If that were the case, I'm more concerned about the super volcano in Yellowstone, but not so much.

Kinda depends on where you live as to what you can prepare for.things like yellowstone could have drastic effects globally same for a large astroid hit no way to really do much about them.
