    Pumpkin spice spam

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pumpkin_Spice_Spam

    So...

I buy a lot of spam, the low salt, lite version. My kids like it a lot, they fry it up with eggs and that's fine. I don't mind it myself but I haven't had it in a long time but... pumpkin spiced?

    eh... maybe next year.

I never had it. Does it taste anything like Taylor Ham/ pork roll? That's a Jersey thing but I'm sure you've had it.

It looks like it might be good fried to a crisp with black pepper.

Just spam? Yeah, it has to be fried up and crisped (as per your subsequent post) for me. It's ok, the standard variety is way, way too salty for me, the lower salt/fat version is ok.

Mixed up with eggs or mac and cheese (I don't eat mac and cheese anymore but...) it's pretty good.

Even grilled to a crisp for like burgers it's ok. I don't eat it much at all anymore but I would in a pinch. It's junk meat but it's ok as long as you don't make a habit out of it.

It sounds just like Taylor Ham which tastes good fried up crispy like. How are you making out life style wise?

And, no, pumpkin flavor just doesn't sound right.

I was planning on posting an update, just didn't get around to it.

Been toggling between under and over 200 and still eating a bit here and there. Walking slowed down, just getting in ~ 5 or more miles a day, it's cooled off a lot during the mornings and evenings. Hit a high today at 204 but was at 198 earlier in the week so eh...

My son in PA is moving out here to get a better job and start his college degree, I'm flying back on Friday and driving with him in his car and things back here. Kind of planning on fasting during that time which is ok, maybe get down to 190 and go back to see-sawing from there.

We're not staying at hotels, he's going to drive when I sleep and vice-versa. He has to eat though, he's type-1 but I'll abstain. I need to get back here quick, got $#@! to do.

That sounds good. How do you drink your coffee, black or with sugar and creamer?
