Goliath joining another Goliath because David is too tough?

There is no other way to explain this. SA starts $#@! with Yemen and starts kicking their ass. Yemen gives them a black eye and now another , even bigger Goliath, offers to help? The support on this board for sending our kids ( living breathing human beings, with moms, dads, husbands, wives and kids) to die over this $#@! sickens me. It also leaves me little hope that polarization has not completely won the day and ended all chance for reasonable answers to any of our problems. A decade ago this idea would have not even achieved a foothold. I'll try again. You are NOT required to approve of every single action "your boy" takes!

I support a lot of Trump's policies, but yeah, I don't support us getting involved in Yemen.

Sometimes I think you come by the name "Rationalist" naturally. Hell I have supported things Bush, Obama and Trump have done without being a fan of any of them. That's the way it is supposed to be. But millions are caught in the polarization trap!

So sanction SA government officials but go to war for that same government? How many others get such treatment?

Saudi Arabia is losing the war badly. At some point, they will have to admit defeat and pay Yemen billions in reparations. Serves them right.

If anyone objective would like to evaluate this conflict......you don't escalate the situation like the Iranians just did if you're winning this proxy war, and Saudi Arabia is losing. Saudi Arabia has the stronger and larger economy as a Member of the G20. Has just purchased weaponry from the United States and others and is in a much stronger position today than either Iran or it's Houthi rebels.

These attacks have been occurring for some time, I started three separate threads discussing Houthi attacks using missile and drones, and then attacks on Red Sea shipping. The realities in those threads if anyone would like to know what's going on. Or you can come in and wing it without a clue.

Saudi Arabia is on the side of the Yemeni government. They are fighting Yemeni rebels.

I would like to ascertain why if you're winning this "war" as some would suggest, why would you launch a cruise missile or drone strike at Saudi Arabia's oil facilities, that seems a desperate move. You shoot down American drones, you now strike into Saudi Arabia itself, you facilitate Houthi's attacking ships in the Red Sea, why?
