I didn't use a source to add those numbers up. Those come were provided by midcan to show him that those numbers could not be accurate. His source either lied or conveniently stretched the truth and he went for it just because he could.
One does not need a "source" to add numbers, just a calculator and a keyboard.

Just for shee its and giggles, I clicked on the site. It's source for those numbers was the Centers For Disease Control.

Kinda sad really when this is news in our country. It's not clear why this couldn't have ended in a more reasonable manner. Another example of how the proliferation of guns makes our nation look like a primitive and stupid society. Weak men who are armed are a dangerous mix. When we were kids we'd run through yards, climb trees, and trespass in simple ways. Of course we sometimes got cursed and chased. Today a child can be killed and some actually cheer. Wonder what their God thinks or their conscience.

Lets look at what you say here, "It's not clear why this couldn't have ended in a more reasonable manner." What reasonable manner do you propose to deal with masked armed criminals? They had Masks on, it was like 80 degrees so I don't think it was the cold weather. They were armed, maybe they were just thinking self protection right??? They fired first, well that kills the self defense Idea of why they were armed, SO please tell us what reasonable manner this should have been resolved in!!!

1 - three people were standing outside a house at 4:00 AM. Not in and of itself damning but......

2- The home owner was out at 4:00 AM with a semi automatic rifle.

Questions
What were they doing at that time of the morning?
Why was the homeowner armed?
Why did the teens pick that specific house and immediately start shooting, no questions asked?

Is there a history of drug dealing in that area?

I in no way sympathize with the three dead teens. I doubt if they were just wandering around the neighborhood with ski mask and weapons and as far as I am concerned good riddance to bad rubbish. However, I do wonder if we know the whole story here.

I do have some of the same questions, and I wonder whether all of the facts and circumstances will ever come out.

I may be wrong, but I just sort of assumed that the homeowner ducked back into the house for the rifle. I don't know why, exactly, that's just the way I pictured it.
