Okay. You obviously are not interested in discussing what actually happened. You prefer some make believe narrative in which the cop rode in wearing shining armor and the homeowner was really a bad guy who got what he deserved.

Here is the reality of what happened. Chew on it for a while.

The cop was responding to an activated residential burglar alarm. He went to the wrong house. The house he went to didn't even have an alarm. He did not identify himself as a Police Officer to the homeowner. The homeowner acted reasonably by carrying his handgun as he moved to investigate who was at his door after midnight. The cop saw him through a glass panel next to the door and immediately opened fire. He made no attempt to identify himself, the homeowner or to seek cover to de-escalate the situation. His report stated the homeowner yanked the door open and pointed his gun at the officer. The video clearly refutes that. Even if that did happen (It did not), it doesn't automatically mean the use of deadly force by the officer was warranted.

The cop panicked and shot a citizen. I don't think there was any malice involved. He just panicked, then tried to cover it up. No matter how you look at it, the citizen should own him, that department and the town and he should be looking for a job outside of law enforcement and hoping he doesn't end up doing time.
