Think about this, CCitizen: "Mothers Against the 2nd Amendment".

Does that make any $#@!ing sense to you on any level? They're all over the place. The reason they are all over the place is because they have been allowed to make asses of themselves in their "equality", which it turns out is not equality at all. Is it?

Male-bashing has been compared to Racism. Our Society is no more humane then it was when racism was acceptable. In this era, racists are rightly treated as Enemies of People.

Male-bashing, however, does unique damage. Most men's happiness depends on women. When women are constantly taught contempt for men, normal love is hardly possible. Normal family life is hardly possible. Normal Society is hardly possible.

Male-bashing has very deep effect on every relationship.

I'm not arguing that genuine "male bashing" isn't insidious and harmful to society, and to individuals' lives. I'm simply asserting that, just as charges of racism, religious bigotry, misogyny and xenophobia sometimes spring from over sensitivity and a victim mentality, some charges of "male bashing" do, as well.

I guess so. But being over-sensitive toward obvious bigotry is much better then being under-sensitive. For example, Richard Spencer is treated as an Enemy of People, which he is.

Young men in Western Society never had any social interaction with women who were not taught to view them as Oppressors, potential rapists/abusers, idiots (Comedy), and pigs. Most Humans -- women and men are innately good. Most Humans are capable of imbibing and accepting prejudices.

Over sensitive is better than under sensitive? Neither is better than the other, and being over sensitive causes a whole new set of problems. Just with racism, being over sensitive usually leads one to believe that something is there that doesn't exist... which, on it's own, is damaging to the general populace as a whole. i.e., constantly being called a racist or a somethingphobe when you are actually none of the above. Having to defend one's self against a negative is absurd... especially when the majority of certain groups feel their sensibilities have been 'offended'.
I never lose.... I either win, or I learn.

I would like to begin this mostly humorous nanoessay with an absolutely serious paragraph about men and Feminism. One of the arguments used by feminists is that Feminism means Gender Equality and anyone who opposes Feminism opposes Gender Equality. If that is so, then calling out Male Bashing is not only every man's duty as a Human who believes in Equality and Dignity for everyone, but also every man's Feminist duty. The vast majority of men support Gender Equality. If that makes them Feminist, then so be it. That does not mean that all of us do not have a legal right and an ethical duty to call out male bashing and support male victims of abuse and discrimination. Even though calling out male bashing offline may be dangerous, all men and any woman who values man can engage in online activism. Please note, that the following discourse about male-bashers relates only to those who engage in Hate Speech -- not those who advocate for women.
    \ end{serious part}

An interesting Twitter thread has lead me to better understanding of male bashers and gave me a reason to respectfully disagree with them. The original message was "not all men... and not all 14th century rats, and yet". The implication is that all men are vile and dangerous like rats which spread Bubonic Plague. Of course, the Internet is rife with every variety of stuff offensive toward anyone and everyone. The tweet itself has nothing of significance. The reception to the tweet, however, tells us very much about the state of Western Civilization in 2019. The tweet received over 2,000 likes, and several messages of support: "hey now, rats are smart... I need this on a tee-shirt...". Our Society is so used to male-bashing that no one was outraged. One man tried philosophically explaining that generalizations against birth groups are wrong. He was immediately reminded that "a good man is not offended since he knows it is not about him". The most critical response was "Saying men are a plague does you no favors if feminism is truly about men and women being equal."

Of course we should strongly disagree with the message of male bashing and believe that it should be called out. Nevertheless, it is important to oppose their arguments civilly and respectfully. Male bashers deserve respect for their very senior age. Many male bashers came to their views via very long lived experiences. Even though many of them look much younger then they really are, commenting on their looks would be very disrespectful.

Come on CC! Men are bad. Especially white dudes, even though minorities tend to show more violence towards woman. There is probably a feminist speaking right now about the evils of testosterone.
Of course she drove to the event on roads maintained almost exclusively by men. She didn't have to take her garbage to the dump that day and may in fact not even know where the dump is, because a guy picks it up at the curb. As likely as not the IT person setting up her presentation's electronics will be .... a dude.
She is served and protected by a majority male police force and rapist and murderers are kept in prison by a predominantly male group of CO's .
Wait the podeum at the event, in a building built by 90% men is heavy and needs to be moved. Who ya gonna call?
She hates testosterone buy used to use it to her advantage with that mini skirt on preformance evaluation day. She has NEVER changed a flat tire in her life and when her car needs maintenance or repair she calls a male just as she does when her house needs the same.
Once she "makes it financially" she grows her money by investments managed mostly by men and might even have a security system installed by dudes.
I could go on but I'm sure you get the hypocritical point.
Feminist hate men unless they are horny, need to manipulate someone or need something heavy moved.. Or want to live in a house or commute of decent roads

And the answer is what? To somehow keep her from saying it? Somewhere right now a man is speaking about how men need to take command of all those "hos and b*tches" and demand their sexual services as a natural right. Somewhere else you have an individual preaching about racial purity and separatism. The bottom line is that you have fanatics who are completely out of touch with real life lecturing and pontificating about their chosen obsession, and you have 99% of everybody else happily ignoring them.

No, my answer is pointing out her hypocrisy. I don't think any guy is talking about that in an approved venue. Not college audotoriums etc.
It's not a secret that man bashing is pretty good politics and a pretty good job for some right now. BTW, it would seem that most of the posters here on this thread are either obsessed or ignoring these situations.

I am 100% for Feminists who stand for Gender Equality -- the Dictionary Definition.

But men must understand that male bashers are literally parasites which purposely inflict enormous harm on their hosts.
