Just deal with the upside down pics. No matter what I do, even if I rotate it, posting it turns it upside down. Whatevs.
Anyway. Don't throw away your apple peels when baking. They can still be used. Soak them in sugar, lemon juice, mountain dew with cinn and cloves. Then drain and add to whatever pastry dough you prefer. The peels will be very soft and easy to eat and are really tasty. In these particular ones, I used croissant dough and brushed the insides with some brown sugar and a little shortening before rolling. Brush the tops with egg wash.
