Anyway, Augie resigned. He was later found guilty of first-degree misdemeanor weapon under the influence, amended down from fifth-degree felony improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle, and first-degree misdemeanor physical control of vehicle while under the influence, amended down from an OVI. He was sentenced to one year of probation, 177 days of suspended jail time, a $300 fine, and court costs, plus an additional three days in jail, which were dismissed after he completed an educational program.

In my opinion bringing to light what most ignore is not obsession but vigilance!!!! How can you fault someone for that?

I think the more important question is why are some "conservatives" so upset by legitimate criticism of abusive government. I thought that's what conservatism was supposed to be all about?

There is not one single conservative who is not upset about abusive government. You have no understanding of conservative principles. You’re not a conservative. You are closer to being an anarchist. A malcontent.
