Welcome to the haunted thread where we can share all things Halloween.

I have purchased a few fixer upper houses in my day. One time, I purchased a home, only one room was kind of ok, it had new carpet in it, it was the nicest room in the house. I chose that room to sleep in since it was nicest. One night I awoke from my sleep, I opened my eyes and looked up to the ceiling and I seen the brightest light and there was a man in it. Meh... I was tired, I thought nothing of it and went back to sleep, Lol.

A few days later a neighbor told me that a man shot himself in that room. ……. I then began to understand why it was the only room in the house with a new carpet. Happy Halloween everyone...…..

That place is definitely haunted!

In 1979 I went there with a lady and her 12year old son. She was a very spooky lady, into the occult and was considered a socerrer. She would wander the neighborhood in a black monks hood and outfit and scare people, claimed to have been abducted bt space aliens, and had dropped acid many times. But when we went there on our tour, at night of course, she wandered off into rooms by herself and claimed to have talked to Mrs. Winchester herself! I believe her, as there were many other instances that we shared together.

I grew up outside of New Orleans and lived in NO for 7 years of college and law school. I have seen spooky things. I lived in a couple of places that were haunted.

More recently, as I posted here at some point after it happened my neighbors pulled a murder suicide on me. I was the only witness. Last year the day after the anniversary of that fun time my wife told me that the night before someone was banging on our front door. And later on our bedroom window-door. But she didn't see anything. I did a quick Internet search to verify the date- yep. The day Alex shot Bobby them offed himself after he asked me to tell his mother that he loved her.

I bought sage to smudge the condo. Sure enough, all quite this year's anniversary.
