Post Still Life - The story of the paralyzed football player after the publicity faded....

In 1973, the whole country was gripped by the tragic story of John McClamrock, a high school football player paralyzed during a violent tackle. But after the newspapers moved on, another story was quietly unfolding, one of courage, perseverance, and a motherís fierce love.

This story was interesting to me because we had a similar incident at our local high school

Thanks. I hated that first story.

ThanI you. It brings to mind Chuckie Mullins of Ole Miss. I was at that game and you could hear his back break. I threw up from it. I think of him often. It was 1988. A few years later chuckie went to heaven . he now runs free. ..RIP chuckie Mullins

I was at the game that Kory Wiita was injured in 09. I remember it like it was yesterday.
