Hopefully we will see a generation of young men who will address men's issues. Just like women and men have been addressing women's issues since 1970s. Maybe the next generation will see what was shown in the original video as unacceptable bigotry.

A real man would not be phased by such comments. Point at the offending person and tell them to shut the $#@! up. Then invite all participates of the meeting to feel free to participate.

And, a real woman would not have made such comments.

The only way to enact real change is to allow open discussion and then counter the points and ideas of others rather than trying to shut them down, which only leads to greater division.

Here's the thing -- the woman handled that discussion very poorly. When she said she didn't want to hear from him because he was a "white male," she shut the conversation down -- and, she shut it down in an unproductive manner.

She never should have brought race or gender into the discussion.

But, we don't know what the entire discussion was about -- we don't know what triggered her -- we're only seeing her meltdown. I'd like to see the whole video. Do you have a link to it?

If anyone yelled at a woman or a minority and told them that their birth group has no right to speak then the offender would have been treated as an Enemy of People. The offender would have been blacklisted.
