    I think it's being advertised as being close to a lot of tourist attractions. https://www.hardrockhotels.com/new-orleans

    Yes it is close. You can walk to the Superdome, to the trolley street car line, to the French Quarter, the River Walk, and the casino. None of them are more than a New Orleans 15 minute pace walk.

    New Orleans is a different city in who it "segregates" people and classes. The richest part of the city is a narrow two strip zone on both sides of the Saint Charles street car line (in parts) and just a block passes that can be 3d world level. Then another nice area.
