    Garden tore down

My 2019 garden is now just some empty buckets and a hand tilled if barren piece of earth. Lousy year for squashes due to powdery mildew but I grew 16 cabbages. I over planted because of the groundhog which only took out a few cabbage seedlings.
So my fall has been filled with cabbage rolls, boiled dinners and lots of coleslaw.

My garden is a process. I planted green beans, roma tomatoes, onions, and cukes. But the virus that hits us about July every year takes its toll on tomatoes and cukes.
Yet I still managed to get 24 qts and 50 pts of Italian seasoned base and green beans, respectively.
I even had a maple tree take root near the garden which I just transplanted yesterday. Now, I can decimate it (the garden) and get it ready for next year.

Your garden is now next years garden. I once had a problem with the powdery mildew on my squash plants. I found that you can spray them with baking soda mixed with water, and hey it really works. Here is a link, this link says that it works best as a preventative, but it worked for me to get rid of it even once already growing. https://www.thespruce.com/baking-sod...mildew-1402520
Did you grow anything else in your garden this year?

That describes mine as well. Good thing that I was not born 200 years ago and trying to survive on the frontier. They didn't have Kroger then. I am trying Aquaponics to make up for it this winter.
