Well, we can all see just who reads thoroughly through the links provided and understands what they are reading.
    You are wrong about police.

Why should be bother to read anti cop propaganda? I am going by your actual words. In the OP you state these are cops who have been "investigated for misconduct". Not investigated, found guilty, and sentenced. We are all well aware of your anti cop agenda.

I would suggest you read your links thoroughly.

    *have been investigated or disciplined*

That ^^^^ doesn't say *have been investigated [and] disciplined*

How many of the 85K were disciplined and or convicted of malfeasance ??

I read everything that I post thoroughly. I have the time to explain what you did or did not read, too. But you seem to love Copaganda as opposed to what you call propaganda. (Sidenote: Propaganda is not inherently bad or negative; Copaganda is)

Anyway, here. This should brighten your day. https://www.lawenforcementtoday.com/...n-in-her-home/

Media has already convicted Fort Worth officer who had to shoot and kill woman in her own home
    More at link.

No propaganda or copaganda (cool word). Just using the numbers in your links. About 1.5% in the 10 years researched were investigated or disciplined. How many of those investigations were dropped for lack of merit ?? 30,000 LEO's lost their accreditation for their malfeasance, those percentages are pretty damn good numbers considering the 800,000 plus, and growing LEO's there are.

As an aside, around 27% of LEO's have ever discharged their gun while on duty and every one was investigated. What's the of good shoot vs bad shoot ??

The links provided were basically hit pieces refuted by it's own numbers. Are there bad cops, sure, but I believe there are less bad cops percentage wise than in the population as a whole.

There are 800,000 plus LEO's nation wide at any one time, and growing, of around 8,500 get busted for wrong doing.

1.5% + or - doesn't seem that bad to me.
Thanks for doing the work for me.

Also, keep in mind the every complaint won't be valid so its a non problem. Obviously we want to make sure we look seriously at complaints and move out bad people. I am pretty sure the DOJ tracks this as well and valid complaints are always about 1%.

Point being is there is no spike just a spike in bad policing. Just a spike in coverage and sensationalism with a 24 hour news cycle.

Helena, I don't recall ever seeing a post of why you are so interested in this topic ab you share so we understand?
I am tired of everyone fighting with each other. This is all by design.
