    Why Neanderthals could outsprint humans

    Why Neanderthals could outstripping humans

As with politics, it is all about geography. Where Neanderthals lived, long distance running was not practicable. They tended to ambush their prey and use short and violent sprints.

Interesting. I wouldn't have thought of Neanderthals as sprinters. Bulky and powerful? Yes. IIRC, hunting was close quarters and Neanderthals could suffer very serious injuries or death in their encounters with prey.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

Neanderthals were quite tall on average, though not so tall as to preclude the ability to sprint. Shorter individuals may have difficulty understanding how that would work, their status as athletes notwithstanding.

The article mentioned shorter lower legs with longer toes and how that assists in sprinting.
