Amazon web services are secure, reliable and redundant. The intelligence community leases space and bandwidth.

Amazon does have huge server farms capable of massive amounts of bandwidth for data processing and analytics. But the entire process of data collection, the very fabric of wireless and fiber, is all paid for by the taxpayer. Even Amazon's server farms are paid for by taxpayer subsidies. For 200 billion a year, the CIA can build it's own server farm.

And reliability? Haaaaa. Do you know how many episodes there are every year where customers have their data breached through leaky s3 buckets on Amazon's system?

Another thing not mentioned are the other 3-letter agencies, the FBI, DEA, ATF, ICE, DIA, NSA, Treasury Department, Homeland Security, Army Intelligence, Naval Intelligence, on and on.... How much does each of them give to Amazon as well? And it's not just Amazon. In the same way media companies are all competing to launch their own streaming services to compete with Hulu and Netflix, like Warner and Disney, the telecom giants are also busy carving out their own version of netflix for intelligence agencies. Even local ISP's are now allowed to sell customer data, down to every single keystroke.

This is all a big play, our government is willing to hand over massive amounts of OUR money and credit, just so they can collect information about us without a warrant, and without probable cause. We have the right against unreasonable search and seizure. We should not have to throw our devices in the garbage to protect that right. We should not abstain from going out in public to protect that right. They are pissing on the Constitution, taking our rights away.

I often see you state that all democrats should be treated as traitors and gotten rid of. But if both democrats and republicans are involved in giving away our rights, then they are all traitors. Hopefully, when you out there hanging dems, you throw some repubs on the other end of the rope to balance them out.
