Russia can't invade Europe- they don't have the economy to fund it. But that doesn't mean they can't cause trouble. Those troops in Germany would be welcomed in Romania, Poland, and the Baltic States.

Europe continues to lose billions in trade with Russia because of the sanctions.......they've had a gutfull of it.....the relationship needs to be repaired because of pure necessity, both diplomatically and economically.....they want to lift the sanctions , and end the stupid geopolitical war games......any stability and prosperity because of US military presence was long gone years ago during the aftermath of the Iraqi invasion .

They would. Russia certainly wouldn’t like it though.

I can't see a Russian invasion of Europe being on anyone's agenda , even if they had the funds ......nor the Baltic states. As long as Russia has open access to Kaliningrad , why bother ? '

Those Third World thrill-killers are born that way; nothing we do makes them that way. In the 1920s, the formerly Great Britain defeated the Iraqis in six months by having no Rules of Engagement; how long will it take us fighting the sissy pacifist way?

Despite the air-conditioned ethics of the Geneva Convention, there cannot logically be any such creature as a "non-combatant" in a combat zone. Someday when we've had enough of being chained and sacrificed, those who've been put at risk by this contempt for our fighting men will take their revenge on these sheltered, self-appointed authorities. Or on the chainleaders' protected sons.

    Big-Oil Occupied Government

The two Bush-League wars against Saddam were ordered by our petrocracy because his overproduction was lowering the price of oil, which helped Europe's economy.

I have no use for our troops in Germany except for Ramstein AFB. This helps us stay forward deployed. The Germans can stop whining about this. The facts are the US base in Ramstein is economic engine for that area. Also they owe us. We defend them and there is little down side to our presence

YES......but they are only at the behest of the US , and they are too costly to continue......now Europe has direct sanctions from the US to deal with as well .
