Back to hanger4's response. You are not compelled to cooperate with any investigation against you. Excutive probilefge is something that every President depends on. When the Democrat's can name the crime they are investigating then they can start fighting for information but no unbiased judge is going force someone to be exposed to a fishing expedition. Currently, even if Trump to the Ukraine straight out to investigate Biden or he would cut off aid then that would not be illegal. You can only argue ethics. Trump was not compelled to aid Mueller in his investigation which turned into a fishing investigation. If a cop asks you if you killed that guy then you do not have to answer him. You only get in trouble if you lie to him.
