Do you remember how it was prepared? The paste type I am not a fan of. I like it seared or baked. It melts in your mouth.

A clear headed Mayor/City Council down the road can end this ban.

I'm not a fan of it, but what's next for NYC? A law which says NYC is a vegan city?

Any law that reduces animal cruelty is a good one. There are humane ways to raise and kill animals for food. The practice of gavage is not one of them.

Convince people not to want it. Don't make me into a criminal because I disagree with you.

I'm not out to convince anyone. I, personally, don't eat meat, but if I did -- it would only be cruelty-free meat products. Just as I can't convince Asians that it's cruel to hang dogs by their feet and beat them in an attempt to increase their adrenaline, which is supposed to make the meat more tender, nor can I convince anyone who doesn't see force-feeding ducks to enlarge their livers as being cruel.

However, I'm all for a law that will stop the process.

We can't convince everyone about everything. The rapist wants to rape no matter how much we tell him it's wrong. So, we make a law.

When liberals have unchallenged control, they prove to the world that they are truly insane.

They're sneaky in how they go about getting what they want. It could just as easily be a law not to shove pipes down bird's gullets and force feed them, would it not? But no.. the headlines read, FOIE GRAS BANNED, and so people don't go further than that and they tend to believe that it's inherently bad to eat or want to eat such a delicacy. They know what they're doing.
    You are wrong about police.

You're right, the wording is sneaky, indeed. I don't know why they do that -- but they do.
