    Foie Gras Banned

Foie Gras, Served in 1,000 Restaurants in New York City, Is Banned - https://www.nytimes.com/2019/10/30/n...s-ban-nyc.html

Animal cruelty concerns led the City Council to approve the ban, which takes effect in 2022. One chef’s reaction: “What’s next? No more veal?” ...

The bill bars the sale of foie gras produced by “force-feeding birds,” with each violation punishable by a $2,000 fine. But not all foie gras comes from ducks or geese that have been force-fed, and determining whether foie gras was illegally produced may present an enforcement challenge.

    *may present an enforcement challenge*

Not being critical, but that's an understatement.

Never had it. Don't care. The world is full of cruelty. I don't know why people can't just feel good about themselves because or when they are not cruel. Who do they think they are imposing their morality on other people about an age-old practice?

In doubt? Check with the Bible. I would imagine the Bible is overwhelmingly okay with this practice. Killing animals and vegetables is why we say Grace. These peeps have probably not been thankful for anything in their lives. All they know is destroying others for the pleasure of their nonsense.

What WILL all the foie gras eating Democrat hypocrites do? Better get a fainting couch before someone gets hurt.

One more step toward a full vegan only diet by law. And the chef is correct, veal is next on the agenda. PETA has been clamoring for the banning of veal for decades

By the way, I am eating my lunch of Campbell's Spicy Jambalaya Soup. Its a new item in the stores. May I recommend that you stay as far away from it as possible? Let it die a natural death. It is weak and its only redeeming factor is that it is spicy but for no apparent reason!

Beef liver is good if prepared properly. Duck liver is totally different. If you are ever in my neck of the woods I will treat you to it.
