    My three year old grandson died five years ago. His mother and father still have not fully recovered. It was hard enough losing a grandchild, I can't imagine the hurt of losing a child.

    There is no getting over it at our age, or any age. There are no words that describe profound grief, He was our Christmas every year. When the other two couldn't find their way here, he was here. We never missed a Christmas for forty years, except this year....such a hole in our lives, one that cannot be patched or repaired. We keep trying to fill it up with tears...........it isn't working at all.
