You might have already seen this but there is more being passed that violates our civil liberties than you might think. I would hope that we will abide by the constitution and stop this in it's tracks. But so far I see little evidence of it. We have a small win here and there, I appreciate those, but we need more wins.

Chinese businesses operating here that have ties to the communist Chinese government. Among others.

I would be surprised if any Chinese-owned businesses in the U.S. did NOT have such ties, or they wouldn't be permitted to operate outside the country. On a related note, I saw a story the other day about concerns being raised with regard to Chinese students being allowed to participate in some pretty advanced research projects that could conceivably be related to national security. What the...?
