Probably a lot depends on Kyle Allen's performance the rest of the year whether Cam stays or goes. Cam may bring a good trade.

I think that he has some value based on his size and athleticism, but he’s a mediocre passer at best and very divisive personality wise. He’s petulant and pouty when things aren’t going his way.

Unless the other guy falls on his face I think Cam is gone. But it often depends on how much of the salary the original team is stuck with.

His current contract expires in 2021 and it was not a huge money deal like they are now. The Panthers absorbing his salary wouldn't be a big deal. If it was, they're just release him.

According to the article that I read it said that his contract was a very friendly deal for the team. It had to do with the time period and the market for QB's he signed.


Top QB's now get 80 to 100 million. I think Wilson got more.
