Home Depot has merged their marketing and security departments for a facial recognition project that would provide insight into shoppers’ in-store product browsing. Michael Weidmann, the consultant for the project, said that no company had ever considered linking the two departments before, but the number has been growing since. With Amazon leading the way with their highly sophisticated and automated Go shops, companies will leverage facial recognition in retail to attract more customers to physical stores in the future.

Meanwhile, Walmart patented a technology with AI facial recognition that enables cameras to capture the facial expressions of shoppers in checkout lines to measure the degree of dissatisfaction with service. The results may help the company improve the in-store experience, including in-store displays, real-time promotions, and other issues.

In general, the use of facial recognition in retail is on the rise. At the National Retail Federation 2018, Samsung and AT&T showed how they plan to use it to get insights into demographics, store traffic customer behaviour patterns, and acquire other data.

Meanwhile, Intel showed a mock-up of a candy store in which a camera recognized recurring shoppers with the help of AI facial recognition, and then informed the store associates about their names, previous purchases, and product recommendations. Properly established, such facial recognition tool could empower the store associates and raise in-store customer satisfaction significantly.

First lets see how China is using this technology, then we will explore how it is being rolled out already right here in the United States.

The corporations along with our gov are already rolling out this system on our own nation. They want total control of the population. It will go much further than just the social credit score, this is just the beginning. We the people must stand up against this now. This is our last chance. Once it is employed there will be no going back. We are at the cusp of something terrible. We must stand up to our gov and the corporations and demand that they not use tech to violate our civil liberties and remove our freedom. We must demand it before it's too late. It's almost too late. We don't have to protest or become violent we just need to raise our voices, call our reps by the hundreds of thousands. Demand a stop to this. It will only happen if we let it.

If you are talking about California there is a guy over there on youtube Grindall, that has been protesting this and has been thrown out of town halls for just voicing his opinion, he is not violent at all. It's just not credit scores in China they can stop you from buying or selling and have you locked up. Yes we should all be and let our voices be heard against this. The government wants you to give up your freedoms for what they call safety.

It's just not credit scores in China they can stop you from buying or selling and have you locked up. Yes we should all be and let our voices be heard against this. I have never heard of him, but good for him. Let him speak out. But yeah I know all about what they are doing in China. Everyone knows they are locking the Muslims in camps. But it's not just the Muslims everyday Chinese people are going missing and ending up in these camps. They are using pre-crime and re-educating people before they commit a crime. They are also putting people in the camps for speaking out against the Gov. If they don't like your opinions they will lock you up.

It is not only about your own score. If you associate with anyone who has a negative score it will affect your score. If your score is affected it will affect your family and friends score. This is the fear system that keeps people afraid and walking the line.

If you get a negative score you wont be allowed on a train, or subway, or plane. They might not sell you groceries, they wont let your kids go to college. You wont be able to get a bank loan. It is bad. We are headed this way. I am basically just saying all of us everywhere need to start speaking up. We need to tell everyone we know. We need to contact our reps, write the president. Tell them we do not consent. We do not agree with having tech used to control us.

Yes they have been taking organs from Christians and others breaking the laws for some time now, locking up Muslims, you are not allowed freedom of speech there or religion unless it's the one they approve. I have reported on both Christians and Muslims over there. Christians are mostly underground.
