Back when I graduated from college, unless you wanted to work in the mailroom, if you didn't have a four-year degree they wouldn't touch you with a ten foot pole. To this day that is still the way they do things, so I guess it depends on the industry you are working in.

a bachelors used to be a ticket to a good job though, now , not so much.

Kids are being taught not to get their hands dirty. Let the peons do the scut work. (That would be be me) Yet, I was never out of work. I was working every day. I never drew an unemployment check. I retired and live well and I retired at 62. What money I make now is not from I call work.
