This is an important article that discusses the corruption of the Deep State. And that is- they believe they are best suited to set policy. Not the people that Americans elect.

Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman is living, breathing, testifying proof the Deep State exists. He has shown his true colors and the agenda of the self-appointed elites who think they run this country.

Let me state categorically that I am not implying dual loyalty or questioning Vindman’s patriotism or even his devotion to duty as he sees it. I’m questioning his judgment about where that duty lies and the execution of those duties as a military officer and civil servant.


The term “deep state” is now highly charged politically. The right takes it as a given, the left sometimes denies its existence. Here’s my definition for the purposes of this discussion.


Deep State (noun): The permanent, professional bureaucracy of the U.S. government, specifically those who believe their judgment and continual service makes them better suited to run the country than elected officials or political appointees.


That’s accurate, but to expand on why it matters, we should note the political contributions of federal employees in the last presidential election went 95 percent to Hillary Clinton. There is nothing illegal or nefarious about that, but it certainly points out the one-sided political nature of this cohort. While they may not openly organize into political action committees, their hold on federal levers of power dangerously skews government’s actions and inactions toward the preferences of the political left.


Any mention of this is immediately discounted and attacked by the media because they have a symbiotic relationship with these folks. They are the sources for most of the leaks that are the lifeblood of the political press, and exposing that is in neither group’s interest. They treat it as a conspiracy theory and continue to use it to serve their joint purpose of advancing a leftist agenda globally. They do this regardless of which party has political control of government, although their cooperation with Democrats and undermining of Republicans is the deepest problem.

Proof of an even more insidious deep state was, J. Edgar Hoover, americans are mostly too young to know that he ruled the FBI for 48 years. Think about that every president democrat and republican alike reaffirmed his as Director of the FBI out of "fear" he would expose them.

Hoover had dossiers on everyone of Wealth, influence and politicians. He had rats and informants everywhere and everyone of public prominence feared him. Talk about a deep state ?

House Democrats conducted their impeachment interviews in secret, but Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman still emerged as star of the show. Appearing at his Oct. 29 deposition in full dress uniform, the decorated Army officer, now a White House National Security Council Ukraine expert, was the first witness who had actually listened to the phone call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that is at the heart of the Democratic impeachment campaign. Even though lawmakers were forbidden to discuss his testimony in public, Vindman's leaked opening statement that "I did not think it was proper [for Trump] to demand that a foreign government investigate a U.S. citizen" exploded on news reports.



Vindman has not yet been scheduled to appear before the Democrats' public impeachment hearings. When that happens, he will undoubtedly again play a prominent role. But there will be a difference. The public now has a transcript of Vindman's deposition. And those who have taken the trouble to read the 340-page document will have a different picture of Vindman's testimony than the one presented in early media reports.


Yes, Vindman testified repeatedly that he "thought it was wrong" for Trump, speaking with Zelensky, to bring up the 2016 election and allegations of Ukraine-related corruption on the part of former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden. But the Vindman transcript also showed a witness whose testimony was filled with opinion, with impressions, who had little new to offer, who withheld important information from the committee, who was steeped in a bureaucracy that has often been hostile to the president, and whose lawyer, presumably with Vindman's approval, expressed unmistakable disdain, verging on contempt, for members of Congress who asked inconvenient questions. In short, Vindman's testimony was not the slam-dunk hit Democrats portrayed it to be. And that raises questions about how it will play when Vindman goes before the world in a public impeachment hearing.

I get this situation is a little different than the one liners being thrown out but some of the things I have heard thrown around and repeated by stupid followers makes me ill.

1) quid pro quo- We sure as hell better be getting something back for giving our tax dollars to foreign governments. It better always be quid pro quo.
So the question is if Trump asked for something personal instead of for the country.
a) An investigation is not an attempt to frame a person. There was no outcome guaranteed. The Bidens could have been cleared but instead this is hanging over their heads. What are the Bidens afraid of.
b) Trump never said that the would not get the money unless they investigated the Bidens. There was no linkage except in a few minds.
c) Trump has every right to ask a foreign government to look into anything. They do not have to do it but the Ukraine was the portal to Russia for the Steel Dossier and the real crime ofr Hillary and the DNC.
2) It is okay to investigate Trump as he runs for re-e;ection but not Biden's son because his father is running for office? What sense does that make. Biden admitted his quid pro quo on video with the Ukraine.
3) The talking point was that Trump was using American taxpayers money to bribe Ukraine! In fact, holding back money is not a bribe. He would be saving taxpayers money.

So, I get where some want to assume intent and some people want to assume the other but how are you going to prove it? Put electrodes on Trump's head?

As far as Hunter Biden. I have no idea why this was allowed to happen under the Obama administration. The Emoluments Clause of the Constitution was circumvented by Biden when he made his kid the recipient.
That would be like a salesperson sending a bribe to the spouse of a purchasing agent. Hunter Biden did nothing to earn and had no knowlege of what he was hired for.
