    Sgt. Stubby the movie

I think it's on HBO. It's an animated movie about the first war dog. He was a stray who learned how to salute and became the most decorated dog in military history with no training whatsoever. If you can't see the movie at least read about this forgotten piece of World War I.

Thats an amazing story about an incredibly brave dog. I felt so sorry for it being a stray. I had read about him but couldnt remember how it ended. That being said I started not to watch the Youtube to completion. Im glad I did. Thank you Stubby.

Stubby retired from the military to be the family dog of Robert Conroy. He died in 1926 in Conroy's arms. A remarkable dog. A true hero.

He was taxidermied and is in the Smithsonian. Still serving his country
