I would take 200-250 million and set up a trust to protect me from myself. Id also do a lot of random acts of extreme kindness for strangers.

I would buy 2 brand new Siamese cats. Special cats $5,000 each.

I would hire say 5 servants and 5 security personnel. $1 million a year.

I would dust off my dictator resume' and take over a 3rd world country. I would tax the people 80%. (Dictatin' is high maintenance)
I would give 20 of my friends $1 million. I only have like 5 friends so total cost $5 million.

    1. I'd give a huge chunk to the Roman Catholic Church every year.
    2. I'd give money to Kent State University, probably endowing a number of scholarships - in perpetuity.
    3. I'd give money to the Cleveland Clinic.
    4. I'd give money to lots of charities and needy people every year. Lots. Anonymously.
    5. Trusts for all the kids, future grandkids.
    6. I'd set up a trust so that in the future there'd be charitable giveaways every year long after Mrs. U and I are gone - giving my descedents trusteeship to decide where the money goes.
    7. I come from a very poor town, I'd pay a lot of college tuitions to help kids get out of there.
    8. Mrs. U and I live pretty frugally, I wouldn't change how I live, though I might get Showtime.
    9. I might get popcorn at the movies (yes, I know it's a ripoff)
    Showtime? Lol, great post man.

Frugally? You already showed us your fancy garden tractor. Oh wait, you did say you were milking it for decades, lololol. I apologize, you are frugal after all. Obviously messin' with ya Mr. Utley. Beautiful post. If I ever get a billion dollars, I'm stealing your charitable outline. And don't worry, I'll throw you a VERY BIG bone.

Iike the way you think. I blew $200 million + in my OP and I still have a Gulfstream 650 parked on my private airstrip that I will need to set aside about $5000 an hour to fly in. I dont even know where I want to go yet! I will chip in $10 million on the yacht party .
