Exclamation Will US stop giving aid to Israel now?

As we all know, Trump is very worried about giving aid to countries with corruption which purportedly explains why Trump withheld Ukraine aid.

Every year we give about $4 billion to Israel. Thats ten times the aid package to Ukraine. Every year.

Now that Benjamin Netanyahu has been indicted for rampant corruption, including bribery, fraud, and breach of trust, will he also apply the same principle to Israel?

Every president in the past sixty years has been subservient to Israel. When Bibi came to the US for the sole purpose of bashing Obama's Iran deal, he received numerous standing ovations from the congress, who clapped like trained seals at every talking point that came oozing out of Bibi's mouth. Mindless, unquestioning support for Israel is bipartisan, although the Democrats tend to be a little bit better on the issue than Republicans. Still, the entire political establishment is in thrall to the Israeli lobby, so there is unlikely to be any change on that front.
Power always thinks it has a great soul, and vast views, beyond the comprehension of the weak. And that it is doing God service when it is violating all His laws.

Those who give Trump's indiscretions a pass are unlikely to bat an eyelash at Bibi's.

I haven't changed my mind, have always been against giving aid, against these unjust wars too. Has nothing to do with the inditment. I know what Trump is doing and where he goes.

I have zero problems with the jewish people or Isreal. My first gf was a jewish girl from the neighborhood. It wouldnt bother me if we evacuated Isreal then turn the rest of the Mideast into a crater.

No. Israel is our staunchest ally in the Middle East and the only Middle Eastern nation with advanced human rights. The surrounding Arab countries are populated by cavemen who do not have America's best interest at heart -- just the opposite actually.

We made a commitment back in 1948 to support Israel, knowing full well that if we didn't the Arab countries would wipe it off the face of the map. That hasn't changed. We're still bound by that commitment and the Arabs are still bound and determined to commit genocide if given the chance. No. We won't stop aid and we won't dump Israel as our ally. Keep in mind an indictment is not a conviction.

These stupid claims that the US is " subservient" are just that, stupid. The US will always provide Israel with military assistance. It isn't being subservient. It's about defending an ally.

In one sense, Israel is no different than the US. When the left can't tolerate an election result, they go into resistence mode and concoct criminal charges against their political opposition.

In the mind of the left, acusations and charges = guilt. Except for when the charges are leveled against then.

What do you mean specifically by “giving him a pass?” That’s a broad swipe. Because if it’s this impeachment horse$#@! or the Russia deal you are a complete moron.
I am tired of everyone fighting with each other. This is all by design.
