I have Windows 7. Tried rebooting, nope. Tried the Windows tutorial on cursors, nope! Tried a new battery, nope.
Its a $#@! trying to move it where I want! Any suggestions? I have a wireless mouse.

Plug in a different mouse, see if that works.
If the battery you used was really new, is you computer blue tooth (if so make sure blue tooth is turned on). If you use a dongle make sure it is still inserted correctly.
In settings there is a part for the mouse- you can adjust the speed, type of cursor, etc.

Step 1: Take the battery out of your mouse, wait for a second and then re-insert the battery.Step 2: If the cursor is still not moving, type “devmgmt.msc” in the Windows Run box to open the Device manager. Since the mouse is not working, you can press Win+R to access the Run box.Expand the “Mice and other pointing devices” section, highlight your mouse listing and then select “Uninstall”. Then choose Action – > Scan for Hardware Changes and this should bring your mouse back to life.
