    Greta Thunberg Time Traveler??? LoL

This story is a bit old, but not sure if you guys seen the story going around about Greta Thunberg? A 120 year old picture was found to be of her likeness and it went viral that she is a time traveler, Lol. I thought it was a fun story. I really like Greta.

Here is a link to a story there are tons. https://nypost.com/2019/11/19/120-ye...racy-theories/

    Excerpt:

Well, she’s impressive, but she’s not that impressive.

Conspiracy theorists are at it again over a 120-year-old photo depicting a girl who bears an uncanny resemblance to teen environmental activist Greta Thunberg.

The photo, unearthed from archives at the University of Washington, shows three children working at a gold mine in Canada, including a girl wearing Thunberg’s signature braid and stoic expression.

Historians believe it was taken around 1898.
We are all brothers and sisters in humanity. We are all made from the same dust of stars. We cannot be separated because all life is interconnected.

I saw this a while back. The resemblance is quite remarkable. Evidence of time travel - an interesting thought, but more likely that there is probably a finite number of ways that human features can be arranged. It is often said that everyone has at least one double in the world.

This is very true. And if she was a time traveler then how come we know when she was born? But it is all in good fun. I have seen people's doppelgangers. For instance I have a sister who looks exactly like Amy Lee the singer. They could be twins. I have an Aunt who looks just like Celine Dion. I met a girl once that looked so much like me, I thought to myself she cant have any other name but mine. I asked her what her name was and it was nearly the same as mine. Certainly there are strange coincidences in this world.

Some of those were really close, others like the John Travolta one and the Daniel Radcliffe one, not so much. I really liked the Jay Z, Nick Cage, Bruce Willis and Peter Dinklage look alikes, they were amazing.

There are tons of more vids on YouTube that have even more celebs with old pics that look like them or in some cases somewhat. These are only a few.

I don't remember the source, but there was a facial recognition program recently that used a database of thousands of faces, and the conclusion that was determined from this is that there are about 5,000 "unique" faces among the general population. In other words, there are only about 5,000 variations on human faces that are significantly different.

That's actually pretty crazy. I would have thought there would be more.

Same here. Granted, I might have the number wrong. It's been a while since I read the article. I just remember that it was a much lower number than I would have guessed. I do believe 5,000 was the estimate though.

With 5,000 unique faces, the number of mixtures of those 5,000 can be calculated and given the human population, the odds of duplication as a mathematical formula.

It's a scary thought, but I think we're reaching that kind of calculation via things like facial recognition software. It also shows the potential for mistaken identities implicated in crimes using said software.
