What does add up is that Kaepernick isn't actually interested in playing. Him getting hired nullifies his central argument for his cause.
Colin used his worksite to protest what ever he was protesting. Unless you are doing activist as a living, you do your job that you are paid to do. Protest on your own time outside of the door before or after work.
You protest on my time instead of doing your job, you are looking for a new job.

Weird huh. All Kaepernick did was kneel as blacks were being killed on our streets. Odd huh. Which is worst, strangling someone to death or kneeling.

'We are being told of the evils of “cancel culture,” a new scourge that enforces purity, banishes dissent and squelches sober and reasoned debate. But cancel culture is not new. A brief accounting of the illustrious and venerable ranks of blocked and dragged Americans encompasses Sarah Good, Elijah Lovejoy, Ida B. Wells, Dalton Trumbo, Paul Robeson and the Dixie Chicks. '

What do you mean by the “canceling” of kaepernick?

Blacks were not being killed on our streets. Police respond to criminal and or violent conduct.

If you are referring to his contract, he exercised his option and opted out of his contract and chose to go into free agency. The 49ers did not cancel his contract.

Had he expressed his views on his own time, he would have been treated differently.

He hurt his team by causing a huge distraction which created a fracture in team chemestry.
