Bloomberg News Loses Credentials to Cover Trump Campaign

*President Trump's 2020 campaign announced Monday it will no longer allow reporters from Bloomberg News to obtain credentials to cover Trump campaign events.*

    https://www.axios.com/trump-campaign-bloomberg-news-credentials-de53650c-f275-4e83-a884-02677d3de6a3.html

After Bloomberg News said they wouldn't investigate Bloomberg or the other Dem candidates but continue to investigate Trump, seems only fair they lose campaign credentials.

Unreal how they think they can just do whatever they want

I'd be curious to know what Bloomberg / News would do if the WH revoked all their WH credentials.

For that matter I wonder if they'll even respond to the Trump Campaign edict ??

Bloomberg is an organ for one of the candidates opposing Trump. They have an obvious agenda.

I think this is a big story. Not because of Bloomberg himself or anything like that, but for those who were holding onto the notion that the media was still somehow fair, I think this is a big way up call for them. Bloomberg was considered to be pretty moderate and fair by most people's standards, so to have them of all outlets to basically openly endorse a single candidate and then completely admit a bias clear as day for basically what they consider to be "the greater good", it shows the state of our media. It's tough now for anybody to argue the media is fair in any sense. As readers, we need to take in multiple sources from multiple angles and read between the lines.

Sounds like a " quid pro quo " they have to deal with.

You know how I can tell President Trump is winning? Not one person complained about this. In the past, this would've been a big story about how President Trump is the next Hitler and is trying to destroy the media.

The media is like this in a large way due to the deregulation that took place in the early 1980's. Today 90% of radio/television/cable stations are owned by 6 or 7 corporations and thus control a vast majority of the media in this country. So whatever their agenda is--political or otherwise--you are stuck with it.

Personally I don't have a problem with a particular media's political agenda, just be up front and honest about it.

Of course if the editors, reporters, journalists and visual talking heads told the whole truth there wouldn't be a problem.

While generally you are correct, I've found that while they are definitely slanted left, the UK offers a good outsider's perspective of the doings over here.

Now mind you, they are dealing with their own Charlie Foxtrot, so they have become a bit more subdued in their criticism.

Journalism is not what it used to be. They just refuse to acknowledge that fact.
