Aid Finally Released for Lebanon After Months

Was this another instance of bribery?

    https://thehill.com/policy/defense/4...n-after-months

The Trump administration has released $105 million in military aid to Lebanon after months of withholding the money without explanation, The Associated Press reported.
The Foreign Military Financing funds meant for the Lebanese Armed Forces were released ahead of Thanksgiving, and lawmakers were notified of the move on Monday, two congressional staffers and an administration official told the AP.

The administration had withheld the money since September despite it having been approved by Congress and supported by the Pentagon, State Department and National Security Council but had stated no reason for not releasing it.
The State Department did not immediately return a request for comment from The Hill.
Lebanon since mid-October has seen nationwide protests over widespread corruption and mismanagement and a newly announced tax on calls made using WhatsApp and other messaging services, forcing Prime Minister Saad Hariri to resign on Oct. 29.

So the money is actually being given to ourselves. Lol.

    Here is an excerpt:
"The aid pays for U.S.-made military equipment for the Lebanese army and is meant to help counter Iran’s influence in Lebanon."

This is simply shifting money from the hands of the people of this nation into the hands of the corporations and military industrial complex. We don't even want to pay for WIC but we will give other nations welfare, and do stuff like this.

We are all brothers and sisters in humanity. We are all made from the same dust of stars. We cannot be separated because all life is interconnected.

*Was this another instance of bribery?*

Considering there has been a first "instance of bribery" there can't be "another".

In a manner of speaking, yes, it was bribery for the military industrial complex. Granted, Agent seems to prefer this form of bribery.
