Democrats Approve of Trump at High Rate

26% of Likely Democratic voters approve of the job President Trump is doing (as of the day Speaker Pelosi announced the drafting article of impeachment): https://twitter.com/Rasmussen_Poll/s...39891340955650

I get that Rasmussen tends to be more Right-leaning, that this doesn't necessarily describe how they will vote and that polls fluctuate, but this is still a bad sign for Democrats.

First of all Scott Rasmussen is no longer with his polling company as of a few years back. They are a pretty down the middle polling company. They have been credited on being accurate on some pretty important races. they also had Hillary winning. So they are not in the tank as much as the people on this board claims. I am pretty sure they were in line with other polls on impeachment and have moved down along with them as well.

It is the CNN and other radical polls that try and shift opinion you have to watch. They are not one of those.

I am tired of everyone fighting with each other. This is all by design.

Democrats have a disadvantage when it comes to actual news and fact, the outlets they watch and read do not tell them the truth. It tells them what they want them to believe.

If you watch CNN and MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC and read the NYTs and Wapo only you are going to believe that Trump is the devil and that the Democrats are going to sweep the 2020 elections by a landslide and that Most americans are for anything democrat and that Socialism is popular and so is Medicare for all and impeachment.

    Then theres the real truth

Don't forget that all FOX News is turning left as fast as they can without losing their audience. Only some of us can get OAN for real news.

Board Of Directors Fox News Channel
Rupert Murdoch - Pro_illegal Immigration and rebuked Trump.
Lachlan Murdoch - Conservative Financially but Socially Liberal is the claim
Chase Carey - Described as apolitical
Anne Dias - Liberal and conributor to the Huffington Post and Chicago Tribune
Roland A. Hernandez - Liberal from Telemundo and a rabid Trump hater
Jacques Nasser - Big Government and Globalist
Paul Ryan - Former House speaker that screwed conservatives and anoth rabid never-Trumper

Not a solid Conservative on the Board

They had Hillary winning the popular vote, which she did. They also had it by a small enough margin that you would suspect the Republican would win, and Trump did. I watch the polls closely and Rasmussen is consistently more Right-leaning than the other polls, most of which are Left-leaning. I agree that Rasmussen is within reason where a poll like Quinnipiac is way too biased Left, but you cannot deny it still leans Right. Well, I guess you can deny that if you want to be wrong.

Absolutely. Remember, this is just among likely Democrats. If you win over a 1/4 of the vote from likely voters of the opposing party, you're going to absolutely crush the election.

I would think his approval rating among Democrats would be in single digits.

Nothing significant. Just because they are okay with what he has done politically does not mean they will vote for him over a Democratic candidate.
